This sweet little girl had the most beautiful head of dark hair and was such a little angel for her session. There is nothing I enjoy more than working with precious little babies!
This week’s Project 52 theme was “work.” So for my submission to the Lancaster County Meet Up Group’s weekly photo pool I chose to take my daughter out and photograph her. Two of my jobs together. Being a mom and a photographer. The “work” part comes in every time I combined these two jobs. My daughter has a horrible case of “Photographer’s Child Syndrome.” Everytime the camera comes out she looks a little something like this…
But then she decided to cooperate for just a few shots. I think she secretly even had a little bit of fun
This week’s theme for the 52 week project I am participating in with the Lancaster County Meet Up group is “excitement.” I figured with having a little guy here for a cake smash, I was bound to get some shots of him being excited over his cake. Turns out he was way more excited about the carrots I gave him for his Easter bunny shots
More from his first birthday session coming up!
What a beautiful week full of gorgeous weather we had last week! Perfect timing for Project 52′s “spring” theme. My little guy turned two this week and thanks to going past his due date (March 19) he was a spring baby instead of a winter baby
So he gets the spotlight this week. Here he is enjoying the spring weather in the new sandbox he got for his second birthday. Gosh I love this kid! Happy Birthday little man!
This week’s theme for the 52 week project I am participating in with the Lancaster Meet Up group is “organized.” I had to look past my own belongings because I am so not organized and focus on the kids’ stuff. I found these little stacking bowls and thought they would make a nice little subject. I took a few shots of them from all sorts of angles trying to make them look interesting. Then my kids asked if they could play with them and I found the shots I took of them doing the organizing were much more exciting than the bowls alone
This week’s theme for my 52 week project is “underneath.” I wasn’t sure what I was going to do for it until I saw it was going to be in the 70′s today. I packed the family up and we headed to the park where I had my husband give the kids a few “underdogs” on the swings. Ah…sweet childhood! My husband was dressed a little more “portrait-like” before we left, but he used his long sleeved shirt to wipe the water off of the slides from last night’s rain. He was a hero to all, so I will forgive him for his t-shirt
I am participating in a Project 52 (that’s taking one picture a week) with the Lancaster Photography Meet Up Group. It has been so fun to see everyone’s picture so far! This week’s theme is “breakfast.” I had this shot in my mind as soon as I saw the theme. Little did I know, getting a huge stack of pancakes to balance is really hard! I had to stick 3 bamboo skewers in them and they still kept tipping over. It probably would have been easier to use frozen Aunt Jemima’s, but this thrifty chic would feel pretty bad about wasting those expensive things! I think the birds that I fed the extra ones to appreciated the homemade touch. Anyway…here are the results!
