Glowing Mom to Be | York Maternity Photographer

Wednesday, April 17th, 2013

I was so thrilled when a fellow photographer asked me to photograph her maternity pictures for her. She looks just radiant, don’t you agree? And I can’t wait to meet the newest addition to the family next month!

The H Family | Elizabethtown Family Photographer

Wednesday, November 28th, 2012

I love this adorable family! This is the second year I have photographed them and they are one of only a few who take me up on my early morning session hours :) It’s amazing how happy and chipper these little ladies are just an hour after sunrise. And you can’t deny the beauty of early morning light! H family, it’s always a pleasure working with you! Oh, and lets all give mom some credit for styling the family so well!

Blueberry Pickin’ | Lancaster Family Photographer

Sunday, September 9th, 2012

I don’t often share pictures of my own family here, but I thought I’d share these with you all. Earlier this summer we had the opportunity to head up to Northern PA and stay at my family’s cabin. The weather up there is a few weeks behind ou weather here, so while we were there blueberries were still in season! We found a local farm with a great big blueberry patch (blueberry patch? Or is it blueberry field? Whatever it is technically, there were a whole bunch of blueberry bushes and tons of blueberries ripe for the picking!) My kids had so much fun! I thought we’d have a bunch of blueberries for the freezer to enjoy this winter, but apparently I underestimated the amount of blueberries these two little creatures can suck down in a week’s time! We will be back next year and we will be filling many more buckets!

4 Generations | Lititz Family Photographer

Wednesday, August 29th, 2012

Love this super sweet family! I got together with them to do a family photo with all four generations for the Grandparent’s Day insert in the Lancaster Newspaper. They are super nice people and those two boys are beyond adorable! Thank you for inviting me to your beautiful back yard to spend some time with you all! Don’t forget to look for your picture in the paper on September 9th!

Grandparents | Elizabethtown Lancaster County Family Photographer

Thursday, August 16th, 2012

These pictures make me smile so much! Probably because they are of my own two little ones with their grandparents and great-grandparents. We did these pictures for the Grandparent’s Day insert in the Lancaster Newspaper. Look for them in September on Grandparent’s Day :)

Project 52 | Week 14 | Lancaster Child Photographer

Saturday, April 7th, 2012

This week’s theme for the 52 week project I am participating in with the Lancaster Meet Up group is “fools.” Really, there are two fools here. My son who is acting like a fool and me, thinking that dressing them all up would make them actually put their arms around each other, look at me and smile. They have got “photographer’s child syndrome” bad!

In reality I did get some shots with good cooperation (these two will do anything for chocolate.) I will share those with you as soon as I am done editing the session!

Project 52 | Week 10 | Lancaster Family Photographer

Wednesday, March 14th, 2012

This week’s theme for my 52 week project is “underneath.” I wasn’t sure what I was going to do for it until I saw it was going to be in the 70′s today. I packed the family up and we headed to the park where I had my husband give the kids a few “underdogs” on the swings. Ah…sweet childhood! My husband was dressed a little more “portrait-like” before we left, but he used his long sleeved shirt to wipe the water off of the slides from last night’s rain. He was a hero to all, so I will forgive him for his t-shirt ;)

Welcome!

Thursday, January 5th, 2012

Welcome to my new blog! Here you will find my recent work, projects I am involved in, some pictures from my own life (of my own sweet kids) and you can also find information about scheduling a session in the menu links at the top of the page. I think a nice start to the new year would be a look at my favorites from last year. Sit back and enjoy :)
